It is also essential to maintain a proper distance between our eyes and the screen. The recommended distance is about an arm’s length away from the screen. Additionally, adjusting the brightness and contrast of our screens can also help reduce the strain on our eyes.

Dr. Mecit also recommends using blue light filters or glasses that can block the harmful blue light emitted from our screens. These filters and glasses are easily available in the market and can significantly reduce the impact of blue light on our eyes. Another important factor is to maintain good posture while using digital devices. We should ensure that our screens are at eye level, and we are sitting in an upright position to avoid strain on our neck and shoulders.

Apart from these measures, it is also essential to take care of our overall health. Getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, and staying physically active can help improve our hormone balance and reduce the effects of digital fatigue. Dr. Mecit also suggests practicing eye exercises to strengthen our eye muscles and reduce eye strain.
