The Minister of Energy and Water, João Baptista Borges, who has been in the People’s Republic of China since the 17th and is scheduled to return on June 22, is participating in the 15th Edition of the International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF) in Macau/China. The forum is being held under the theme “GREEN INNOVATION, DIGITAL CONNECTIVITY.”
Alongside the conference, the minister is engaging in an extensive work agenda, including high-level meetings and visits to the exhibition of Chinese companies participating in the forum, with a particular focus on those specializing in the energy and water sectors.
As part of today’s schedule, the Angolan official visited the stand of the company SiNOMACH-CMEC. During this visit, he witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in projects involving power plants, transmission lines, and substations in Angola. This agreement, signed between GAMEK and the company SINOHIDRO, will ensure improvements in the energy and water sector infrastructure.
