But I was proven wrong. My shape looked more sculpted and similar to the famous Kardashian derrière. As the co-founder and chief creative officer of Skims, Kim states in the press release, “We love showing how looking and feeling your best should be as simple and easy as putting on Skims.” And I couldn’t agree more. The gleeful smile on my face in the mirror was proof enough that the butt pads had made me feel my best.

Let’s be honest, the most appealing aspect of the Skims Butt Enhancing collection is that it actually works. The difference in my shape was evident, and the fabric of the leggings and bodysuit was comfortable, smooth, and “snatching,” just like any other Skims pieces I’ve tried. The brand’s signature blend of polyamide and elastane has a lifting and contouring effect that is not affected by the addition of butt pads.
What’s more, my enhanced shape was convincing enough to my partner. What to Consider Before Buying the Skims Butt Enhancing Collection
While the Skims Butt Enhancing products do their job well, the actual feel of wearing them is worth noting. The sewn-in pads at the rear add two inches of volume, making it a bit uncomfortable to sit or brush against objects. Your newly-sculpted bum may look real, but it’s actually the fabric of your clothing. So, it’s important to keep that in mind.
